Welcome to the website of Modern College, Porompat, Imphal, Manipur. It is with a sense of an immense pleasure, a high honour and distinct privilege to address you as the Principal of this esteemed College. Modern College is an institution that have on a strong academic foundation with 14 different departments & considered as the premier college of the state of Manipur. Modern College is permanently affiliated to Manipur University. The College was established on 8th August 1963. The College with an excellent faculty and supportive administrative staff has been successfully running the Undergraduate and B.VOC courses. Modern College, Imphal encourages the Modern Collegians to move ahead along with its mission of transforming talented and hardworking students into disciplined matured citizen, scientists and administrators with high moral, ethical and professional standards. This very college also has numerous of its alumni who not only has excelled in the field of academics, arts, science and technology but also in different walks of life.
