It is with immense pleasure, great honour, and distinct privilege that I address you as the Principal of this esteemed College. Modern College is an institution with a strong academic foundation, offering 14 different departments, and is considered the premier college of the state of Manipur. The College is permanently affiliated with Manipur University. It was established on August 8, 1963. With an excellent faculty and supportive administrative staff, the college has been successfully running Undergraduate and B.Voc. courses. Modern College, Imphal, encourages the Modern Collegians to move forward with its mission of transforming talented and hardworking students into disciplined, mature citizens, scientists, and administrators with high moral, ethical, and professional standards. The college also has numerous alumni who have excelled in the fields of academics, arts, science, and technology, as well as in various other walks of life.
